Intelligent Data Stream COM is the COM printing of print data that as the name implies has a bit of smarts. It's data stream is of the type DJDE, Metacode, AFP, etc.. These types of print can change font typeface, font size, print location, embed images, perform form changes all within the print stream. Many companies send invoices or statements to customers via this type of print stream. Those spiffy bills from the power company with there usage graphs etc. are intelligent print streams.
