Customizing CaptureFlows To Your Needs
ActionPoint Enterprise Server™ manages the capture process and works in conjunction with the InputAccel modules that are responsible for each processing function within InputAccel. CaptureFlows let you create and define the capture tasks and the sequence of the tasks used to process your documents. (See diagram)

Creating your CaptureFlow begins with identifying where and what types of documents enter your organization. The process continues by identifying what each document is composed of and what function that data serves. CaptureFlow tasks range from importing documents to preparing documents and from converting documents to exporting data to compatible enterprise systems. Each task has a set of modules associated with it and will allow for automatic data gathering such as recognition of bar codes, form fields, and handwriting: image enhancement or image-clean-up: manual data entry: data validation and quality checking: and exporting to occur. Because each document requires its own unique set of capture tasks, the capture process must be customizable.
